On the morning of 27th Jan. 2005, former Member of political bureau of the China Communist Central Commission and Vice Premier Qian Qichen together with his wife inspected the Eastcompeace Smart Card Co., Ltd. with accompany of Deputy Nomarch of Guangdong Province You Ningfeng, vice-Mayor Chen Honghui, General Secretary of Municipal standing Committee Liu Jia, etc.. The group was welcomed warmly by the leaders and cadres of Eastcompeace.

In the meeting hall, Vice President of company Zhang Peide gave the guests a general introduction about company's history, scale and industry status. Qian was gratified and showed his appreciation for the fact that Eastcompeace grew surprisingly rapid in past 6 years and achieved today's scale and reputation in smart card industry of China. Following the leaders of Company, Qian and his retinue paid a visit to the factory and was furnished with chip-card production flow and card personalization features. He nodded at times to admire when seeing the clean and well orderly environment and feeling the united and efficient working atmosphere. Then he paid attention to the promising future of company.
